Living in the northeast, winter typically means snow. Where we live it varies year to year, but we can usually count on at least one or two good storms. It would always be very exciting for my kids who loved to go out and sled and make snow angels or snowmen and then come in and warm up with hot chocolate. A few snow days from school was always nice as well! The photos above are about 6 years ago and the ones below are 3 years ago. A couple of good storms for sure!
Yesterday we had our first snow of the season which sparked the idea for this post. It was really fun to see my now 20 and 18 year olds who are home on winter break from college, be excited to go out and do some of these same things they did as kids growing up. The photo below was taken today with my girls "little sister" who lives next door. Wondering if we might get a white Christmas this year...I guess we will find out in a week!❄️
