Biscuit Pizzas

Too tired to make a large meal? Feel like pizza but don't feel like running out? This recipe is super easy and is a fan favorite in our home, and the small kids will love being able to assemble them as well! I can't take the credit for this either. This is Maggie's personal recipe. We tried it and loved it!

Ingredients: which will make 8 biscuit-sized pizzas...

*1 container of biscuit dough (I prefer Pillsbury)
*Pizza Sauce (we like Don Pepinos)
*Shredded mozzarella cheese
*Ricotta cheese ( we prefer Maggio's whole milk ricotta cheese)  (if you don't like this cheese, you can skip it)
*Any other toppings you prefer... crispy bacon crumbles, sautéed mushrooms,  pre-cooked sausage or meatball crumbles....basil and sliced fresh mozzarella cheese.....chipped ham and pineapple chunks for the Hawaiian pizza lovers.....

Pre-heat the oven to the temperature on the biscuit container (typically 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or 325 degrees if you are using a non-stick cooking sheet)

I place parchment paper on a cooking sheet, but you can also just spray the sheet with cooking spray to avoid sticking if you prefer.

Place the biscuits on the cooking sheet, mashing them down a little into small pizzas. Add as much pizza sauce as you prefer, followed by the mozzarella cheese and other toppings. We like a dollop of ricotta cheese on top (if you prefer), then place in the pre-heated oven. Cook the pizzas for the time stated on the biscuit dough container (typically 13-15 minutes). Voila & Enjoy!
