When one daughter is a senior and the other is a sophomore, it's a great time to have a pre-homecoming party for both! What better way to have fun than to throw a party. We enjoy having parties at our house, and this was a special one. It was the pre-party before the Homecoming dance in 2017. We have some nice picture taking places in our backyard which is much of what this party is about. I don't normally do a lot of fall decorations around the pool, but when the girls decided they wanted to host this party together for all of their friends, I went all out with the mums and other fall decorations. We ended up with a pretty big group of both seniors and sophomores as well as parents and siblings who came along to take photos. We had snacks and drinks, and it was a fun time for all. Thankfully no-one fell in the pool trying to get the perfect picture! The party was a success, so the following year we hosted the pre-junior prom party for my younger daughter and her friends with spring flowers around the pool.🌷
