August of 2018...A day in NYC to celebrate my younger daughter's 16th birthday which is actually in September, but she wanted to have this day before my oldest went off to college. She chose to spend the day in her favorite city with an activity she had wanted to do for a long time. We also brought two of her closest friends and took a helicopter tour of NYC. It was a very cool experience. We had a beautiful day with clear skies, and the views were amazing. I would highly recommend this activity when visiting New York. There are several companies that offer these tours, and the rides vary in duration and what the routes are. There are even some that give tours at night. Our tour was about 30 minutes long and left from Pier 6 in Manhattan. We then ended our day with dinner in Times Square. Fun fact...that 16 year old is now an 18 year old freshman at NYU...her dream school in her dream city!🚁🗽
