Crisp weather, beautiful colors, pumpkin patches and corn mazes are just some of the wonderful things which come along with the transition to the fall season. For many years we went to the same farm every October to pick pumpkins, which usually included a hay ride out to one of the fields, and their corn maze was a must as well. It was always so much fun, especially on a nice day. We would come home with a bunch of pumpkins and then decorate the entry way of the house while saving some for carving, It became a tradition and something the kids always looked forward to. We are big fans of Halloween in our household, so this event would mark the beginning of our preparation for this holiday.
