Dinner and a movie...perhaps the most classic fun Friday night there is, and of course another thing which has been limited over the past year. We are lucky to have the luxury of watching many new and recent movies in the comfort of our own homes with all the streaming that is available, but let's not forget how much fun it can be to go see certain blockbusters on the big screen or in an IMAX theater. It can also be a lot of fun to get into a movie series and enjoy special events at local theaters related to new movie premieres. There are often midnight premieres or other special screenings for the much anticipated next film in a series. Hopefully these events will become the norm again soon, and with so many dine-in theaters, your dinner and a movie can be combined in one location if you choose! Not sure what the next big series will be, but here are a few which have been huge over the years and "family friendly". So, whether you prefer your home theater or can't wait to get back out to a real one, definitely keep movie night in mind as a good "fun Friday" option!🍿🎬

The Hunger Games series is very near and dear to my family...my daughters were huge fans and we did several special events related to these 4 films...stay tuned for next week's Friday post to hear about one of them!
