Tuesday Treats!
There is nothing like a meal that tastes like it took an hour, but really only takes 10 minutes. This is super fast and super delicious! Minimal ingredients too!
Ingredients:
*3 tablespoons of butter
*1 pound of raw shrimp, thawed, deshelled, and deveined
*1 teaspoon of garlic salt
*1 lemon-freshly squeezed
*1 cup chicken broth
*2 tablespoons of fresh flatleaf (Italian) parsley- chopped
*freshly grated parmesan cheese
*8 ounces angel hair pasta
*pepper to taste
In a large pot, boil some water for the pasta, salt the water generously after it's boiling, and cook the pasta according to its directions (typically 2 minutes for angel hair pasta)
In a skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat and add the garlic salt and the shrimp. Cook the shrimp until pink in color (about 2-4 minutes).
Add the lemon juice, chicken broth, pepper, and then bring to a simmer.
Add the fresh parsley and sprinkle some parmesan cheese to thicken the sauce slightly and turn off the heat while stirring the sauce.
Toss with the angel hair pasta and garnish with extra parmesan cheese.
Mangia!
